President Yoweri Museveni has allocated land for new industrial facilities in Uganda's Ankole sub-region.

A 70-acre industrial hub is planned in Bushenyi, while additional industrial parks are expected to be established in Ruhengyere and Nakivale in Isingiro District.

The projects are aimed at supporting local manufacturing and adding value to the region's strong dairy, coffee, livestock and food-production sectors.
