Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud visited the Gorgor General Command as the 21st Brigade received a new batch of armored vehicles and heavy military equipment.
The delivery included Turkish-supplied Kirpi armored vehicles provided as part of Ankara's continuing support for Somalia's security forces.
The new equipment is expected to increase the brigade's mobility and protection during military operations.
