Turkish firm plans LPG investment in Sudan

Turkish energy company Argaz is planning an integrated LPG import, storage and distribution project in Sudan as the country seeks to strengthen its energy infrastructure.

The proposal includes a dedicated LPG terminal at Suakin Port and storage facilities with a planned capacity of around 28,000 cubic metres.

Sudanese authorities said the project could improve gas supply for industrial, commercial and household users, with technical and economic studies expected to precede implementation.
