A 10-day cholera vaccination campaign has begun in Tawila, North Darfur, targeting at least 95,000 people as Sudan continues to battle a growing outbreak.
Around 2,900 infections and 247 related deaths have been recorded across six states since the outbreak was declared in June.
The health crisis comes as insecurity continues to drive displacement, with thousands of civilians recently fleeing areas of North Darfur and Blue Nile state.
