Sudan's intelligence chief Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal has called for continued engagement with neighboring countries as Khartoum deals with the regional consequences of the war.
Mufaddal highlighted relations with Chad, Ethiopia and eastern Libya, stressing the importance of maintaining communication despite political and security tensions.
He also identified security challenges, social divisions and economic pressures as major issues facing Sudan during the conflict.
