Somalia moves to strengthen national media strategy

Somalia's Federal Government has concluded the second National Strategic Communication Forum in Mogadishu, bringing together government institutions, regional administrations and media representatives.

The discussions focused on improving public communication, expanding access to reliable information and strengthening coordination between federal and state-level media structures.

Officials also examined the impact of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, with the government aiming to build a more professional and resilient media sector capable of countering misinformation and adapting to the digital era.
