Somalia and Egypt discuss air force cooperation

Somalia’s Air Force Commander Brig. Gen. Abdirisaq Mahmoud Haji met Egyptian Air Force Commander Air Marshal Amr Abd El Rahman Sakr to discuss expanding military cooperation.

The talks focused on training, equipment, capability development and support for rebuilding Somalia’s Air Force.

The meeting comes as Mogadishu accelerates efforts to strengthen its Army, Air Force and Navy through international training partnerships and broader defence cooperation.
