Djibouti and Turkiye seek deeper strategic partnership

Djibouti's prime minister and Türkiye's outgoing ambassador reviewed bilateral ties and discussed moving toward a broader strategic partnership.

Djibouti's Prime Minister Abdoulkader Kamil Mohamed received outgoing Turkish Ambassador Erdal Sabri Ergen as the two sides reviewed expanding bilateral ties.

The discussions highlighted recent cooperation in security, education, technical development, economic relations and connectivity.

Djibouti and Türkiye are seeking to deepen cooperation through investment, infrastructure, logistics, energy and human-capital projects, with both sides aiming to move the relationship toward a broader strategic partnership.
